Kyra Blake is an Ottawa-based freelance photographer and photography assistant who is always looking to create something beautiful. With a heartfelt passion for portraiture, Kyra's lens becomes a bridge between the essence of her subjects and the timeless art of photography. Being able to capture people's personalities, natural beauty, and individuality is something she takes a lot of pride in.

Whether collaborating with experienced models or everyday individuals radiating their own unique charm, Kyra's work embodies the art of transformation through imagery. She thrives on the challenge of crafting visuals that empower her clients, offering them a collection of photographs that exude confidence and authenticity.

Kyra's journey as a visual storyteller began at Algonquin College, where she pursued her love for photography. Graduating with honours in the spring of 2022, Kyra's dedication to her craft and her journey speaks volumes. Her academic pursuit had its share of twists and turns: after completing her first year in 2019, she made the difficult choice to step back in 2020 due to the pandemic's challenges. This hiatus from both her studies and the world allowed Kyra to have a greater appreciation for learning and the art of photography. In 2021, Kyra decided to rejoin her educational path that September.
